Jackson Design Forum 2024
The Jackson Design Forum brought community members, nonprofit leaders, urban planners, architects, landscape architects, engineers, developers, and government leaders together to share ideas about redeveloping Jackson, Mississippi around public greenspace projects.
The forum provided a platform for leaders to better connect efforts and communicate collective project goals. Discussions include topics like how park and trail projects can reshape the city through providing better access to public health, recreation, transportation, education, and commercial districts.
This special event came at an opportune moment, bringing together many visionary public space efforts happening simultaneously across the city. The Great City Foundation aims to continue connecting collective efforts for a greater chance of achieving progress for multiple projects by supporting nonprofit organizations, project leaders, and groups.
