Capitol Street Improvements
Over the past two centuries, the historic Capitol Street cooridor in Downtown Jackson, Mississippi has experienced many transformations. From dirt roads with horse and carriage in the 1870s, to the electric streetcar system, to a six lane street accommodating the automobile during the 1920-70s, to the complete street road diet in 2015, this street continues to evolve and elevate with new improvements.
